Giving Back: Bottled Water Collection
It's hot, hot, hot! Temperatures in Fort Worth are nearing 100 degrees every day, and for some, finding relief isn't always as easy as reaching for the nearest water faucet or finding respite in an air-conditioned building. Our friends at Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County are asking for help providing bottled water for our neighbors in need.
Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County has over 128 years of experience providing food, shelter and supportive services to thousands of men, women and children. These services have given many residents hope and a chance for a new start. Residents participate in programs designed to maximize their potential by developing the skills they need to return to the community as independent, productive members.
Shop Small Fort Worth is teaming up with Wrare, Hot Damn Tamales and University Car Wash to collect cases of bottled water for our Union Gospel Mission. Our goal is to collect 100 cases of water now through the end of August. Will you help us get there?
Donations can be dropped off at these local business starting July 18 through the end of August. As a thank you for your donation they are offering:
